20-year-old dies after bloody fight at Humboldt Forum

Berlin. At the Humboldt Forum in Berlin-Mitte on Friday night, yet another clash. A new hotspot for criminality?

September 9, 2025

A 20-year-old Syrian was fatally wounded in a violent clash between two groups in Berlin-Mitte. On Friday evening at the Humboldt Forum near the Karl Liebknecht Bridge, he was so severely wounded by a sharp or pointed weapon that he initially had to be resuscitated, as a police spokesperson said in a video on X. As the State Prosecutor’s Office reported on Saturday, the man succumbed to his wounds and died during the night. The spokesperson has initially declined to provide information concerning the weapon.

In the fight, three people were attacked by a group of around 15 people at around 7:35pm, as the report states. The other two men from the smaller group, aged 22-23, were slightly wounded. A homicide squad and the State Prosecutor’s Office have taken over the investigation. There have been no arrests as yet. The analysis of physical evidence and witness statements is ongoing.

According to our information, the hostility between an Afghan group and a Syrian group was the trigger for the incident. Whether the violence broke out spontaneously or the clash was deliberately planned is as yet not clear. Police spokesperson Florian Nath told Berliner Zeitung regarding the preliminary status of the investigation: “It seems that a group of Afghans attacked a group of Syrians.” The police confirm to us that the victim is a Syrian. As for the other group, there is no confirmed information, since there were no arrests, the police told Berliner Morgenpost.

Similar incident at Humboldt Forum a few weeks ago

Only three weeks ago, at the Humboldt Forum, there was a knife fight between two groups during which, according to police, six men suffered wounds.

At that time, a 24-year-old was critically wounded in the back and operated on at a hospital. The other men, aged 20-26, according to police reports, suffered stabbing and cutting wounds to the hands, legs, as well as the pelvis and upper body. A 14-year-old and two men, ages 19 and 20, were arrested. The background for the bloody clash was also initially unclear in this case. Whether there is a connection with the incident on Friday is under investigation. One parallel is at least apparent: Then also, Afghans and Syrians were going at each other.

Is the Humboldt Forum now a new hotspot? Not likely, according to security circles. It is probably a temporary move away from the nearby Alexanderplatz, one of the seven “crime-plagued places” in the capital. This shift may have something to do with the heightened police presence as a result of the police station there. However, Alexanderplatz remains one of the most dangerous corners of Berlin. In the past year, there were a total of 35 stabbings and 80 gun incidents recorded by police in and around the square.

Battle of Vienna: when Europe defeated the muslim invasion

In the year of our Lord 1529, Sultan Suleiman, the sworn enemy of the Christian Faith, set out for Vienna with all his forces in order to defeat Christianity. Peter Stern, Chronicle of 1529.

In the spring of 1529, an army of 75,000 men left the Ottoman capital of Istanbul and headed for the heart of the Holy Roman Empire: the city of Vienna.

Raymond Ibrahim, Author, The Al Queda Reader: “To conquer Vienna was sort of the gateway into Western Europe — if you were able to take Vienna likely other areas would fall quickly.”

The Ottoman leader Suleiman the Magnificent had already conquered much of Eastern Europe, and now his army marched undefeated toward the West, to claim it in the name of Islam.

An Austrian leader described the Muslims march of terror through Europe. “Many thousands of people were murdered or dragged into slavery. Children were cut out of their mothers wombs and stuck on pikes; young women abused to death and their corpses left on the highway. Peter Stern, Chronicle of 1529

Raymond Ibrahim, Author, The Al Queda Reader: “The atrocities will blow your minds — I mean putting children on pikes is one thing.

Oftentimes they would take Christians that they liked and force them to become Muslims. If they didn’t, they would be tortured, which included gouging their eyes, chopping their appendages and throwing them in fire.

Anything that your mind can envision went on then.”
The Austrians pleaded for help from Europe’s Holy Roman Emperor Charles V. But Charles dismissed the danger in Vienna; as a courtesy he sent a few German and Spanish troops to protect the city — just 1700 soldiers to fight an army of 75,000.

In late September the Turks arrived in Vienna and set up camp here outside the city.

But it wasn’t long before they realized their greatest enemy wasn’t the European army — it was the weather. That autumn was unusually cold and rainy. Suleiman’s secretary described the miserable conditions in his diary.

“It rained so heavily that some of the horses and camels were swept away by the water. Men climbed up trees and spent two days and nights there. The rain soaked the Turks gunpowder, making it useless.”

And the heavy floods forced them to leave most of their heavy cannons behind — a decision they would later regret.

The Ottoman troops surrounded the city, and the Sultan issued an ultimatum to the people of Vienna:

“Let it be known that if you become Muslims, nothing will happen to you but if you offer resistance, then by Allah the most sublime, your city will be reduced to ashes and young and old slaughtered.”

Raymond Ibrahim, Author, The Al Queda Reader: “That was the traditional invitation as it was called preceding the warfare: ‘Join us and become Muslims and renounce your Christ . . . or we’re going to start attacking you.’”

Suleiman warned that in less than two weeks he would celebrate his victory with breakfast inside Vienna’s largest church, St. Stephen’s Cathedral after he had turned it into a mosque.

The people of Vienna stood their ground and refused to surrender. Abandoned by the rest of Europe and ignored by their own Emperor they realized no more help was coming. And they were the only thing standing between Europe and the armies of Islam.

Inside St. Stephen’s, the European soldiers gathered to plan — and to pray. They also took an oath of loyalty.

“Noble and common companions at arms swore to remain in the city as long as there was still life in their bodies . . . and to die alongside one another for the Christian faith.” Peter Stern, Chronicle of 1529.

After a few days, Suleiman gave the order to attack. Twice the Ottomans advanced toward Vienna . . . and twice the Austrians turned them back.

With no heavy artillery, the Turks had to find a different way into the city. So they started a whole new war: underground. Hundreds of Turks tunneled under the city and planted explosives to blow up the gates of Vienna.

But the Europeans came up with a creative way to find the bomb: they place barrels of water in the cellars along the city wall and watch the vibrations in the water to see where the Turks were tunneling. This way they found most of the mines before they exploded.

There’s no question that the Europeans were outnumbered . . . but what they lacked in manpower they made up for in creativity: from inside the cathedral they waged a psychological war against the Turks and their most powerful weapon was disinformation.

The Austrians planted spies who led the Turks to believe they had reinforcements on the way. Then throughout the day and night they shouted and blew their trumpets to confuse the Turks.

According to the Sultan’s diary their plan was working: Suleiman believed the Holy Roman Emperor himself was behind the city walls with an army of thousands.

St. Michael’s day arrived with another heavy rainstorm. This was the day Suleiman had boasted he would be eating breakfast from inside the Cathedral — but in reality the Turks were no closer to capturing the city.

And as the rain poured down on the Ottoman tents the Austrians sent a message to the sultan from inside the Cathedral: “Your breakfast is getting cold.”

Two weeks into the siege, the Ottoman army was in disarray: the soldiers were tired, sick and running out of food. By now their commanders had to beat them with sticks just to keep them on the battlefield.

The Ottomans decided to launch one final attack . . . this time using the Sultan’s elite troops the Janissaries. Two days later the Turks stormed the city — but they were no match for the fierce German pikemen at the gates and the final battle lasted just two hours.

Raymond Ibrahim, Author, The Al Queda Reader: “Suleiman basically decided he’s going to leave and save face.

The Janissaries themselves got very angry because this was unprecedented; these Ottomans who have been taking everything in their path. This was a new blow to them: they found hey we can actually be stopped. It was humiliating.”

The next morning a freak snowstorm swept through Austria — making the Turkish retreat even more difficult. In less than a month a small group of farmers, peasants and soldiers had defeated the most powerful army in the world they not only saved the city of Vienna they single-handedly stopped the march of Islam through Europe.

Raymond Ibrahim, Author, The Al Queda Reader: “The onslaught of the Islamic Turkish Empire had stopped — and so it was an example to them that they can be being now we know these wild people can be stopped. And we know we can do it. And we know God is on our side. Of course that became a pivotal part of the narrative.”

The bells of St. Stephen’s — silent throughout the siege — now rang in celebration. And the church which it served as the military headquarters became a house of worship once more as the people of Vienna gathered to thank God for their victory.

A special hymn was written for the occasion based on a verse from the Psalms: “Unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain.”

My thoughts on the political assassination of Charlie Kirk

by Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff

I was never fortunate enough to meet Charlie Kirk in person, though I once heard him speak at one of my friend Karen Siegemund’s American Freedom Alliance conferences. This was many years ago, when Charlie was still so young, really just a boy — but even then, his astute mind, his kindness, and his deep love of God, family, and country left a lasting impression. Like countless others, I was struck by his clarity and conviction. So today, when we speak of his legacy, we are not just remembering a man — we are examining the values he embodied and the torch he has left to us to carry.

Charlie’s influence on Gen Z, on today’s youth, cannot be overstated. It may well have been one of the reasons he was targeted. Over the years I followed him closely, especially the short clips from his campus tours that so many of us have seen. If you haven’t, I urge you to do so. His knowledge of everything under God’s sky was breathtaking, far beyond most people I’ve ever known. And remember, he was still only in his early thirties.

One of his arguments left a permanent mark on me. For much of my life, I was indifferent to abortion. I neither advocated for it, nor thought deeply about it. But as I began my own journey of standing for what is right rather than what is comfortable, Charlie’s debates with pro-choice activists transformed my indifference into conviction. He had a gift for making people stop and think, for turning an abstract issue into a moral reality. I came to believe, as he argued so powerfully, that abortion is in almost all cases the taking of a human life, with all of its consequences. I especially appreciated his reasoning when he asked about the exact time a fetus enjoys human rights, including the right to life. It made me think hard, as it did others.

I won’t recount all of Charlie’s arguments here — you can find them online. Instead, let me ask you this: how is Charlie’s murder different from the killing of a child in the womb? Both deaths are senseless. Both cut off lives full of potential. Both leave behind those who loved them and who grieve their loss.

Charlie taught that we must listen to the other side, not necessarily agree, but at least respect opposing views. That is what our side is about: listening, debating, tolerating. The other side, knowing that history and facts are not on their side, often resorts to violence.

So I say: we must remain intellectually curious. Ask questions. Listen. Learn. My mantra for years was “two plus two equals four.” Charlie’s death has added: “What is a woman?” — one of Charlie’s most famous questions. A simple question, but one that in today’s world could cost you your life. Will you stand with me and keep asking it? Because a society that punishes questions is a society already on the path to tyranny. And Charlie reminded us — again and again — that asking the right questions is not only our right, it is our duty.

Remember: asking questions is not provocation. There is nothing controversial about saying capitalism works better than socialism. That men and women are different. That the Constitution is the greatest political document ever written.

Violence begins when humans are dehumanized — when dignity is stripped away, when scapegoats are created. We saw this in the dark years of the Covid era. Some of you may remember it when JFK, RFK, and MLK were assassinated. We have studied it in the horrors of National Socialism and Communism. Whenever people are targeted, silenced, locked away, or even exterminated for what they believe, the result is always disaster: totalitarianism, war, destruction. History warns us. Charlie warned us. And now we must warn each other — before silence takes root where speech once lived.

I have been warning about this for years — especially at the OSCE conferences, where I stood before diplomats and politicians and raised these very issues. I told them what would happen if Europe and the West continued down this path of silencing and criminalizing dissent and dehumanizing those who speak truth. Sadly, what I warned about then is unfolding before our very eyes today.

Since I began my journey in 2007, I have never stood with anyone who called for violence. If they had, I would have walked away. Our weapon of choice is debate — civil discourse, presented calmly, with persuasion and facts. We do not seek to destroy; we seek to preserve what is true and good. We argue with words, not weapons. Our side does not riot, burn, or terrorize. We choose peaceful demonstration, genuine warmth, love, and hope. As someone recently said: “It is no longer red vs. blue, it is humanity vs. insanity. It’s knowing when to agree to disagree. It’s knowing everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It’s knowing right from wrong and good vs. evil. In a world full of evil, be the good.”

And I can say this with conviction because I have lived it. I stood before a judge in Austria for speaking the truth. My conviction in 2010 was only the beginning. Since then, countless others in Europe and America have faced fines, prison sentences, attacks, and even death for refusing to be silenced. Yet those who survive come back stronger. And you know this too — that silence is complicity, and truth demands a voice. That is the message: we will not back down. We will not be silenced. We will continue to stand for truth, for God, home, and family. We owe this to our children.

Charlie’s death has been called a watershed moment. I agree. But the question is: what will you do as a result? What does Charlie’s death mean in your life? Each of us must ask: What are my core values? What do I truly stand for? Am I willing to defend those values publicly, knowing the cost? Charlie’s death has shaken us, but it has also revealed the measure of our time. And as one commentator put it so clearly in the very hours after his passing, the question is not just about him — it is about us. Here’s what Greg Gutfeld, in his monologue on The Five the day Charlie died, said:

It’s not about him or me.

It’s us…

What do we do? Well, you still do what you always do, but you do more of it. You stand up. You speak up. And you share the risk.

Right now you are recoiling, but you have to come back and return stronger, more fortified, and more resilient… Charlie’s power just got released in all of us.

Life will go on, even after Charlie’s passing. But if his death is to have meaning, then we must each take up the torch he carried. Find out what that torch looks like for you. Carry it proudly. Never let the flame be extinguished. Above all — live each day fully, tell your loved ones how much they mean to you, and never give up. Never give in.

That is how we honor Charlie Kirk. That is how we keep the flame of freedom alive. And that is how we ensure that when history looks back at this moment, it will say: they stood, they spoke, and they did not let the flame die.

War Hysteria in the European Union: Bundeswehr to Quadruple, Poland Training Mothers to Fight against Russia

The war hysteria in the European Union is reaching new levels virtually on a daily basis. In the aftermath of the supposed “Russian” drone incident, the troubled bloc is increasingly militaristic, with its eyes set on “the evil Kremlin”. Although Polish officials are yet to explain how and why these “Russian” drones ended up in Poland, their statements already suggest that the incident is most likely a false flag.

Namely, it would make little sense for Moscow to send unarmed reconnaissance drones. Such a move accomplishes nothing of value for Russia, but (rather conveniently) gives the political West the perfect pretext to get directly involved in the NATO-orchestrated Ukrainian conflict. For the world’s most aggressive racketeering cartel, this is a matter of “protecting the investment”, as it’s crystal clear that the Russian military will eventually defeat the Kiev regime forces.

To prevent this, the political West needs to prepare for war. The issue of motivating the populace remains, so the EU/NATO needs to fabricate a narrative that it’s supposedly “defending”. And for God knows which time, Germany seems to be among those leading the charge. Namely, the Bundeswehr (German military) is looking to increase its land component by at least 100,000 soldiers.

Lieutenant-General Alfons Mais, the Inspector of the Army (effectively the highest ranking officer in the land forces, better known as Heer), wants the service branch to grow by nearly three times its current strength, stressing that Berlin “must be ready to fight a war with Moscow by 2029”. At present, the German Army has around 60,000 active-duty troops, with plans to increase that to at least 160,000. According to Reuters, confidential military documents confirm that this plan is already underway.

“It is imperative for the army to become sufficiently ready for war by 2029 and provide the capabilities Germany pledged (to NATO) by 2035,” General Mais wrote on September 2.

However, even this isn’t enough, as the Army Chief argues that the actual number of troops needs to be 260,000 active-duty and at least 200,000 reserve personnel (at present, it’s approximately 60,000 for each).

“According to a first rough estimate, a total of around 460,000 personnel (from Germany) will be necessary, divided into some 260,000 active troops and around 200,000 reservists,” he wrote.

In effect, this would quadruple the current number, bringing the size of the German Army to the levels not seen since the (First) Cold War. What’s more, Berlin also keeps expanding its “expeditionary” troops, particularly in the Baltic states, where 5,000 German soldiers are now stationed (specifically in Lithuania). The last time they were there, things didn’t go exactly as planned.

What’s more, this was before Russia had the largest thermonuclear arsenal on the planet, in addition to a plethora of long-range strike systems (including hypersonic weapons that the entire NATO simply lacks due to technological inferiority). Still, this doesn’t seem to be a concern for the Bundeswehr planners as they now want to increase German military presence in virtually all of Eastern Europe, including Poland. In other words, German tanks will be moving through Poland and Ukraine to fight Russia.

Does this sound familiar by any chance? It’s almost as if something like this happened already, but we can’t really put our finger on it. Jokes aside, anyone with a primary education would certainly know and understand that this is a patently bad idea. What’s more, it’s highly questionable whether Berlin will be able to pull this off. Namely, back in 2018, the Bundeswehr’s land component was supposed to number over 200,000 troops, but this target was never reached.

Worse yet, a Financial Times report published back in March showed that the German military was faced with record dropouts, with 25% of new recruits leaving after only six months of service. In other words, not only is Berlin faced with a nearly impossible task of increasing the size of its armed forces, but it cannot even retain the current numbers. The situation is so bad that Germany will likely need to reintroduce conscription.

On the other hand, neighboring Poland seems to be taking it up a notch, as it’s now training mothers to fight a war with Russia. Namely, after the aforementioned “Russian” drone incident, Warsaw decided to sponsor military training for 20,000 civilians, including Polish mothers “who want to protect their children”. Needless to say, deploying female civilians with toddlers for war against the deadliest fighting force on the planet is anything but sensible.

And yet, here we are. This sort of “logic” is what pushed NATO-occupied Ukraine into a perfectly avoidable bloodbath that wiped out an entire generation of Ukrainian men, exacerbating their country’s already disastrous demographics. The latest data suggests that approximately 1.8 million Ukrainians are now dead and/or “missing” (i.e., almost certainly killed in action, but the Neo-Nazi junta refuses to acknowledge this).

NATO is undoubtedly aware of this, which is why it conducts studies on the potential number of casualties in a war with Russia. Namely, back in September last year, German Lieutenant-General Alexander Sollfrank gave an interview to Reuters, explaining how a conflict with the Kremlin would be completely different from the illegal NATO invasions in Afghanistan and Iraq. At the time, Sollfrank was the head of NATO’s logistics command and certainly understood the peculiarities of waging war with an opponent that can actually shoot back and obliterate critical infrastructure in the rear.

Winds of war: Russian warplanes breach NATO airspace in ‘dangerous provocation’ over Estonia Russian

Three Russian fighter jets flew into Estonian airspace on Friday in what would appear to be the third attempt by the Kremlin this month to test NATO’s eastern border.

The MiG-31 aircraft — heavy interceptors capable of carrying Russia’s Kinzhal hypersonic missile — entered via the Gulf of Finland. The jets circled for about 12 minutes and NATO scrambled Italian F-35s to repel them.

The incursion comes after Russia last week also sent drones into Poland and Romania, two other frontline NATO members.
