Mohsen Mahdawi praised Hamas, honored dead terrorists, and boasted that Palestinians “have the capacity and conviction to resist, to kill and to wound"

 

Mohsen Mahdawi, the Palestinian Columbia student fighting deportation over his role in the school’s anti-Israel protest movement previously pledged to “annihilate the Jews,” our Adam Kredo reports.

 

A 100-page investigation by the British journalists David Collier and Rachel Feldman unearthed statements in which Mahdawi praised Hamas, honored dead terrorists, and boasted that Palestinians “have the capacity and conviction to resist, to kill and to wound.” The findings challenge Mahdawi’s portrayal of himself—and his portrayal in sympathetic media outlets—as a peaceful activist targeted by the Trump administration.

 

“His violence-tinged postings, some of which were published as recently as 2024 while Mahdawi was on U.S. soil, tout ‘armed resistance in the West Bank or Gaza,’” Kredo writes. “They directly challenge the student provocateur’s portrayal of himself as a reformed and now peaceful activist who long rejected the type of violence commonly endorsed by students who protested alongside Mahdawi at Columbia.”

 

“This is not a report about something Mahdawi said when he was young and later repudiated. The significance lies in the continuity to the current day,” Collier and Feldman wrote in a press release. Their report, they added, “raises serious concerns about how someone with such an extensive history of supporting armed violence was able to obtain a U.S visa in the first place.”

 

Mahdawi’s deportation case has received extensive media attention. The New York Times, for example, published a glowing profile last year claiming he left Columbia’s protest movement “because he wanted to engage in dialogue with supporters of Israel” and had grown uncomfortable with other protesters’ calls for violence.

 

But Mahdawi was still defending “armed resistance” in a friends-only Facebook video in December 2024. And in a 2013 video, he declared that “every young man” has “the ability, the capacity and the conviction to resist, to advance, to kill and to wound.” After arriving in the United States the following year, he praised the “lions” of Hamas’s al-Qassam Brigades and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

 

By 2015, Vermont police were investigating Mahdawi after he applied for a job at a gun shop. The shop owner told police that Mahdawi claimed experience with modified submachine guns “to kill Jews while he was in Palestine” and later allegedly said, “I like to kill Jews,” according to records reviewed by Collier and Feldman. Mahdawi denied making the latter statement, and federal agents ultimately closed the investigation.

Hasan Piker: A "killer" on the road

 

Hasan Piker is now claiming that "It’s laughable to say guys like myself, guys like Abdul El-Sayed, we hate America. But critics say it's laughable that the multi-millionaire thinks anyone will believe him with all the video evidence of him saying he hates America and El-Sayed attacking America.

El-Sayed also refuses to condemn Piker's anti-American comments like he hates the country; America deserved the 9/11, that capitalists should be m*rderd, and that the American empire must end.

A few of the many examples:

While reacting to Rep. Dan Crenshaw on Joe Rogan’s podcast, Piker said: “America deserved 9/11, dude. F*ck it, I’m saying it.”

“We f*cking totally brought it on ourselves dude.”

In the same session he mocked Crenshaw’s combat injury and called the “mujahideen” who wounded him “brave.”

In a stream where Piker talked about property owners, he said: “K*ll them. K*ll those motherf*ckers and m*rder those motherf*ckers in the streets. Let the streets soak in their f*cking red capitalist blood, dude.”

Piker has repeatedly said he hates America and that he says so, “all the time,” “Yeah, I do. I do hate America.”

In November 2025, while live streaming from Tiananmen Square in Beijing, Piker said he has “no patriotism in my heart for America”

On April 15, 2026, speaking to the Yale Political Union in New Haven, Connecticut, Piker backed a resolution to “end the American Empire.”

He said:

“Empires never die quietly, and we must end the American empire regardless."

"But we must manage the retreat of a superpower from the world stage."

"If we do not do this, then the American empire will come to an end in a much more violent way"

Across years of streams, he has called capitalism a “death cult” and has praised communists who k*ll tens of millions of people like Mao Zedong.

He also said, "The fall of the USSR was one of the greatest catastrophes of the 20th century."

Piker is an anchor baby whose non-citizen mother came to the US to have him and his brother. They were then raised in Turkey.

Piker came back, benefited from American colleges, makes $4 million a year on an American streaming platform, is worth $35 million and lives in a $3 million 5-bedroom home in West Hollywood complete with a pool.

Mélenchon changes strategy

"Jean-Luc Mélenchon has just discovered that he committed a 'terrible error' regarding the Islamic veil. In 2010, he still considered it a 'sign of patriarchal submission.' In 2017, he was still mocking it as a 'rag on the head.' Today, change of scenery, change of electoral clientele… and (apparent) change of conviction.

He naturally explains to us that this is an admirable intellectual journey. But one could also see something far more prosaic in it: the opportunism of a man who meticulously tailors his speech to the electorates he aims to win over. Today, the candidate is cozying up to a segment of the Muslim electorate, on which France Unbowed heavily depends in many constituencies. The most remarkable part is that he would like to pass off this spectacular political conversion as a moral epiphany. Mélenchon hasn't merely pretended to change his mind—he has above all changed his strategy.
