Taslim Uddin, a native of Bangladesh, has lived in Portugal for 35
years and is the main face (and leader) of the Bangladeshi
community.
In a recent speech, before other leaders of the
Bangladeshi community, Rana Taslim Uddin stated the following:
“Those
who found a new society here, those who are present here today, ask
me what I have done for society.
Brothers, I
did it to make my God happy,
not for society. If God is happy, He
will bring a solution to society
and will lead this society
onto the right path.
If He is not
happy, then He will destroy this society.
Therefore, we try to please God and, at the same time, build a
friendship with the people of this society.”
