President Donald Trump has recently signed an executive order mandating the declassification of all remaining classified files related to the assassinations of President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

This move aims to provide transparency and address longstanding public interest in these historical events.

The executive order directs the Director of National Intelligence to develop a plan within 15 days to release the JFK assassination files and within 45 days for the RFK and MLK files. This action is expected to shed light on these pivotal moments in American history and potentially challenge longstanding theories about governmental involvement.

It's worth noting that during his first term, President Trump had expressed intentions to release all remaining records on JFK's assassination. However, at that time, some documents remained classified due to national security concerns.
