Trump Kicks Off Purge Of Biden-Era Staff Beginning With Mark Milley and Chef José Andrés: ‘YOU’RE FIRED!’

President Donald Trump is charging ahead with establishing a new order for his second term on day one with a sweeping purge of over 1,000 Biden administration appointees he deems unfit for his MAGA vision — and he’s starting with some high-profile names.

In a fiery Truth Social post early Tuesday, Trump announced his Presidential Personnel Office is already “actively in the process of identifying and removing” officials who he claims are out of step with his agenda. Among those singled out: retired General Mark Milley and celebrity chef José Andrés.

“Jose Andres from the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition, Mark Milley from the National Infrastructure Advisory Council, Brian Hook from the Wilson Center for Scholars, and [former Atlanta Mayor] Keisha Lance Bottoms from the President’s Export Council — YOU’RE FIRED!” Trump wrote.

Milley, who served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2019 to 2023, was previously a target of Trump’s ire during his administration, particularly after Milley’s public pushback against Trump’s handling of military matters. Notably, Milley was among those issued a preemptive pardon before former President Joe Biden left office on Monday.

Andrés, the world-renowned chef and humanitarian, founder of World Central Kitchen, has been an outspoken critic of Trump’s policies, particularly on immigration and disaster relief.

As Trump tightens his grip on his political comeback, the message is clear: loyalty to his “America First” vision is non-negotiable, and the Biden-era holdovers should expect the axe to fall swiftly
